Also in Chile, I met some folks in the Patagonia who I convinced to hire me to mop their ship so I could hitch a ride to Antarctica to dance with Emperor Penguins. But that's a story for another time.

A poem I wrote while living in a garage while I took Marine Bio summer courses at UCSB.

A sample of a coffee table book I wrote inspired by the rock packages we'd receive at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Once I lost $5 walking to a class. In true Sad Poet form, I wrote a poem about it.

I co-authored scientific medical articles on bones, on weed, on sound waves.

A poem about the largest international balloon fiesta in the world. But mostly, the best burritos ever.

A story about living off grid on earth's most active volcano where my toilet was above a lava crack, and my outdoor shower grew wild plumerias up the walls.
